Desiring the Dancer (Risqué Book 1) Page 3

And maybe if I could comprehend this feeling, I would understand why I pull away before he can fully kiss me, and escape to the pantry.

  Chapter Five

The pantry in this house is massive—it’s practically a room of its own complete with a counter and small appliances. Why I chose to run into this room instead of, I don’t know, out of the house or upstairs to my room, I couldn’t tell you. But here I am, standing among the canned foods, wondering where my mind is and why in the hell I ran from a kiss with the hottest guy who’s wanted to kiss me in my life.

What in the world am I doing?

Aiden knows where I went, so it won’t be long before he comes in here. Before he does, I need to figure out what to say to him. Nothing is coming to mind. It’s simply a jumble of want, need, and fear clouding my ability to think.

When he finally appears in the doorway, a wave of guilt washes over me. Before I can speak, though, he holds up his hands. “Look, Carlie. I’m sorry if I came on too strong. I just...” He pauses to run a hand through his hair before dropping it back to his side. “I don’t want to pressure you into anything—”

“No, Aiden. That’s not it. Trust me.” Turning away from his gaze, I say, “I don’t know how to feel right now.”

“Maybe I should go. I don’t want to make you feel uncomfortable.”

At first I thought he might not be serious, but when he starts to walk away, I call out, “Wait, don’t go.” He stops, looking back at me. The words I couldn’t find begin to flow out of my mouth. “You have to understand, I’ve never been in this sort of situation before.”

  “Wanting to kiss a stripper?”

I hold back from cracking up over the obviousness of my dilemma. “Wanting to kiss a stranger,” I tell him honestly.

“Ah,” he says, comprehending where I’m coming from.

“The thing is, I don’t want to not want to kiss a stranger. It shouldn’t be this complicated in my head, you know?”

“Oh?” He raises an eyebrow, then takes a step forward.

“Yeah...” What I need right now is confidence. To take a leap of faith on a feeling I can’t explain. Is a kiss from a stripper a bad thing? Surely it’s not. “I shouldn’t pass on an opportunity if it could be something good, right?”

“Hmm… are you sure?” Another step closer.

Say yes. Just say yes. All I can do is nod.

Shaking his head, he says, “No, Carlie. You need to say it.”

With a deep breath, I reply quietly, “Yes, I’m sure.”

“You can say no.” Another step.

“I don’t want to say no.” My voice is breathy, my heart is skipping beats all over the place. Is this really about to happen?

  “What do you want?”

He’s standing in front of me again. I could say no, like he said. Being a stripper doesn’t make him any less of a gentleman. I could walk away from him right this second, and he would respect my decision.

  But I can’t say no.

  I can’t walk away.

“I want you to kiss me.”

Aiden presses his lips to mine firmly, and all my worries quickly fade from view. He kisses me deeply, searching, getting to know me. The passion of it overwhelms me. My hands grasp at his shirt to pull his body closer until it's flush with mine. I moan into his mouth. God, if his kiss is like this, how would the rest of it—

Let’s not be too hasty, Carlie.

The heat between us threatens to consume me. I’m so into what’s happening that I barely even notice when Aiden lifts me onto the counter. My legs spread to let him settle between them and wrap behind his back, our lips never parting. The second I feel his hard length rubbing against my center, I gasp.

Holy shit, we’re doing this in the pantry with the door open.

Taking my lips away from his for a couple seconds, I whisper, “Close the door.”

After one more kiss to my lips, he leaves me, taking the heat between our bodies with him. He takes care of the door with such swiftness, if it weren’t for that brief change in temperature, I wouldn’t have realized he was gone. He’s back in front of me before I know it, his lips now pressing hot kisses along my neck down to my cleavage.

My fingers weave into his hair to pull him back up. I press kisses over his cheek, enjoying the tickle of the tiny hairs scratching me. I mutter, “What are we doing?”

“I’m not sure yet.” He pulls back to stare into my eyes and asks, “Am I moving too fast?”

Is he? Are we? “I don’t know.” My hands roam over the fabric covering his chest and all I can think about is him ripping that shirt off and… “No, it’s not too fast.” I grab his face and kiss him again.

Smiling against my lips, he whispers, “Good,” as he continues kissing me. Pulling me slightly closer to the edge of the counter, he brings our bodies together again. His cock rubs against me, the thin barrier of lace of my panties not holding back any of the delicious friction between us. The more it builds, the more I want.

“Fuck,” he says, tearing his lips away from mine. The next thing I know he’s frantically flipping my dress up and peeling my panties down my legs.

Gasping, I ask, “What are you doing?” I’m suddenly aware of how open I am to him and that he can see everything down there—and I mean everything, as it has been ages since I shaved. “Aiden…?”

Kneeling on the floor, he says, “You’ll see.”

He leans forward and presses kisses on the insides of my thighs. Shivers spread over me. Clearly he doesn’t mind that I’m unshaven, as he continues to get closer and closer to his destination. Part of me wants to bring him back up and yank off those pants to have something else happen instead. But the second his tongue licks over my clit, I’m completely powerless to his spell.

Aiden is a master. He alternates sucking my clit and licking between the seams of my folds. He brings me to the point where I have to hold on to the counter for dear life to keep from jumping all over the place. My knuckles turn white, and sounds escape my lips with every sweep he makes. I’ve never felt anything like this before, not even with the toys I have buried away in my closet. Then again, those toys didn’t take a class on oral like Aiden must have.

My awareness begins to heighten and I’m getting close. So close. When it happens, I have to let go of the counter with one of my hands to cover my mouth as I cry out. Aiden stays down there, continuing to guide me through my orgasm. When it finally subsides and I’m completely sated, he comes back up to kiss me on the mouth. I can taste myself on his lips and there’s something strange and heady about it. Almost too much to handle. Too much to bear.

And something tells me there’s still so much more to come.

“Is there a bed we can use?” Aiden asks breathlessly, answering my burning question about what’s next. “Not that I wouldn’t mind taking you right here on the counter, but...”

Nodding, I say, “Yes. There’s a bed. If we don’t get to it quickly, we may be doing it on the floor.”

He says with a grin, “Then you'd better lead the way before I let you do that.”

Aiden helps me down from the counter. I snag my panties to hide the evidence from anyone who decides to come in here before the morning. Taking his hand, I lead him up the stairs to my room.

  Chapter Six

As I hold a finger to my lips, the two of us sneak up the stairs and down the hallway past my sister’s room. We try our best to walk as quickly as we can without making noise. I don’t hear any sounds coming from it, so it’s likely Valerie is finally sleeping it off. Appears we ought to be in the clear as long as neither of us gets too loud. I might need to get Aiden to cover my mouth the next time he gives me an orgasm.

Just the idea of another orgasm arouses me even more.

Once we’re inside my room and the door is closed, we’re kissing again. It’s even more frantic than before. He pulls the zipper down on my dress and moves back to let it pool at my feet. He stands back to take it all in. I feel mor
e exposed than before, which is ironic given Aiden’s vocation. You’d think that would make me feel less intimidated.

Aiden slowly releases a deep breath. “You look amazing. You know that?”

“I do?” He genuinely seems to be in awe, which I wasn’t expecting.

“Yes.” His lips find mine and it’s more tender than our other kisses. Soulful and intense.

I reach for his shirt, wondering if I only have to pull it apart like he did earlier tonight. I yank at it and it rips open, exposing his bare chest. Sucking in a breath, I stare in wonder at his impressive pecs and abs. “Oh my God, that is so.... So...”

“Hot?” he finishes, raising an eyebrow.

  “God, yes.”

He rips off the pants, too, leaving him in only his black underwear. With one swift move, he has me in his arms, lifting me off the ground. I wrap my legs around him as he carries me over to the bed, trying not to giggle too loudly. After he tosses me onto the mattress, I immediately remove my bra, letting my breasts free for the first time. His eyes travel over me yet again. Instead of saying anything, he silently removes the final barrier between us and climbs onto the bed above me.

Even though the lights aren’t on, there’s still moonlight coming from the window, allowing us to see each other fully. I barely caught a glimpse of what he had underneath that silky fabric, but considering what I’ve been feeling while we're pressed together… let’s just say it’s going to be the perfect size.

Our naked bodies meld together and his lips find mine in a sweet embrace. His hands locate my breasts and he squeezes them gently, eliciting soft moans from me. My hands return the favor by squeezing his ass.

I’ve never felt this swept away before. Sure, I’ve had some nice sexual experiences, but there’s been nothing like this. It’s completely taking me over, overwhelming me with sensations never before felt. It’s intimidating in some ways, but also feels very real.

  Very right.

His cock presses against the inside of my leg and I’m wanting more. I’m wanting it all. “Need you,” I say in a hoarse voice.

“Need you more,” Aiden replies. He leaves me to slip a condom over his hard length, then returns, spreading my legs gently. Looking me in the eyes, he asks, “Are you sure?”

  “Yes. I’m sure.”

When he enters me, I realize exactly how big he is. He appears to notice this and eases back, allowing me to accommodate his size. His hand touches the side of my face. “How does it feel? Are you doing okay?”

I nod. The pressure subsides and turns into pleasure once he’s fully seated in me. “You feel so good.” My hands reach for his face, dragging him closer for a kiss.

Aiden moans into my mouth. “Likewise.”

Pulling back almost all the way, he then pushes right back in me. When I respond to his liking, he does it again before falling into a rhythm. I raise my hips to meet him, and we match each other’s pace. The tempo elicits a slowly building tingling, especially the way we’re moving together.

It’s almost becoming too much, too soon. How could that be? It usually takes me far longer to reach this point during sex. What is it about this time that's causing this burning desire? Is it Aiden?

Is it the fact that I’m letting myself go for the first time in my life?

In any case, I’m starting to grapple at the comforter below me, needing something to hold onto before it reaches its peak.

My quiet mewling catches Aiden’s notice and he picks up the speed, grasping at my hips to pump into me faster than before. It sends me toppling over the edge. I cry out his name, my orgasm thrilling me to my very core. As it courses throughout my entire body and I’m still trembling in his arms, Aiden reaches his own release with a long groan.

He collapses over me, catching his breath while I do the same. After a beat, he lifts himself on his elbows to look at me. “Well, that was amazing,” he says.

I laugh, basking in the afterglow. “Damn right it was.”

Amazing is hardly the word for it. Phenomenal is more like it.

After he disposes of the condom, he returns to me and we climb under the covers together. He draws me close to him, placing an arm around me and holding my naked body to his. We lie like that for a moment, enjoying the warmth between us.

I break the silence, asking him, “How did you get into stripping?”

Sighing, Aiden says, “It might seem stupid, but it helps pay for college.”

“That’s not stupid at all. What’s your major?”

“Graphic design. But I’m also taking a number of computer-related courses to diversify my knowledge.”

  “Do you like it?”

  “The stripping or college?”

I let out a snort. “I meant college, but now I want to know both.”

“Yes and yes.” His answer is quick, as though he didn’t even need to think about it.

  “Really?”

“Of course. Why would I subject myself to something I don’t enjoy?”

Seems simple enough, right? Why do something with your life that you don’t enjoy? That’s not how everyone lives, though. “I guess I never thought of it that way.”

  “What do you mean?”

“Well...” I pause, unsure if I should be opening up to the guy I just slept with after only knowing him for a few hours. However, he might be the perfect person to discuss this with. “I’ve been aiming for a degree in business, primarily finance. Once my mom began dating Valerie’s dad, she insisted on me using my smarts to become a career woman. Her new husband is the CEO of a banking company and they plan on getting me a cozy job on one of the top floors.”

“Wow. That’s impressive.” Aiden absently runs a finger over my arm. “I get the feeling, though, that it’s not what you want to do.”

  “How did you know?”

  “Intuition?”

I scoff, then recall his ability to practically read my mind from earlier. “Okay, fine. It’s not what I want to do.”

“Which begs the question: What do you want to do?”

“Honestly? I don’t know what I want to do.” I have ideas, don’t get me wrong. Ever since my mom insisted on this career path for me, I haven’t taken the time to sit down and consider what I could be doing instead.

That I could be pursuing something I love, like Aiden.

“You know,” Aiden says, “I wasn’t sure what I was interested in until I started taking classes. I knew I wanted to get into something related to computers ever since I can remember. Growing up, I spent my free time at night figuring out how computers work. The thing is, there are so many options out there when it comes to computer technology. It took my whole first year to narrow down my field of interest.”

“I suppose I have a decent number of the important classes under my belt,” I reply, “but that doesn’t change the fact that I’m at a loss as to what I want to do.”

“How about taking a semester off?”

I peek up at him. “Seriously?”

He smiles. “Yes, seriously. Take some time away from college to discover what you truly want. Get yourself a job, save up money, and figure out what you're actually passionate about.”

“I...” Huh. I’ve never thought about doing something as bold as taking a semester off. I never outright told my mom that this wasn’t what I wanted to do with my life. While she likely wouldn’t be thrilled at my sudden change of heart, I know she loves me and wants me to be happy.

Even if it means I’d have to start over.

  “Maybe you’re right.”

  “Of course I am.”

I laugh. “Sure of yourself, huh?”

He shrugs his shoulders. “I’m usually not wrong when it comes to matters like these.”

Even though I just met him, and his advice is regarding something extremely serious, I feel like I can trust him. There’s something about him, an almost sage wisdom. The idea of taking a semester off gives me the biggest sense of relief I’ve had in a long time.

“You know what I think, Aiden?”

  “Yes, Carlie?”

“I think you deserve a reward for that.” I lift myself to press a brief kiss to his lips, then start kissing down his chest and over his abs.

Once he realizes where I’m heading, he says, “You don’t need to do that.”

“Maybe I don’t need to, but I want to.” Within seconds of wrapping my hands around his cock, it begins to grow again at my touch.

Aiden sucks in a breath. “Well, if you plan on taking care of that, I’ll owe you one in return.”

I kiss the tip of his cock. “Deal.”

  Chapter Seven

The next morning I’m woken up by a sharp knock at my door followed by the jiggling of the door handle. I groggily rub my eyes and yell out, “What?”

“Carlie! It’s Myra! Is somebody going to be making us breakfast? I’m starved and so is your sister.”

Oh shit. The memories of last night flood back to me. The party, the caterers, the waiters… Aiden… I glance over at the other side of my bed to spot his adorable face. The smile it brings to my face goes away the second Myra knocks on the door again.

I get up and scramble to find a shirt and hurriedly pull on the panties left on my floor. Thankfully I had the foresight to lock my door last night to prevent any potential barging in. I unclick the lock and open the door a crack.

Myra raises her eyebrows and holds up her hands. “So, who’s making breakfast?”

“Um, nobody?” When her jaw drops, I clarify, “If we were at our parents’ house, the cook would be there, but we’re not and the caterers were the only people who were hired to be here and they’re gone, so...”

She grumbles under her breath. “Do we have to make breakfast ourselves?”

“Maybe. There’s cereal and oatmeal in the—” Never mind. They won’t do it themselves. I scrub my eyes and say, “You know what, I’ll come down and make something. Maybe you can get the coffee started.” I sure as hell am going to need some. “How does that sound?”
